INJECTION MOLDING

This process is mostly used to produce preforms, closures, fitments and other small component parts.

1. Injection: Resin is heated to a molten state. The resin is injected through the hot runner into the injection cavity tool where the product is formed including its threads, shapes, and hinges.

2. Eject: Once the product has cooled, the mold opens and the product is ejected for down stream quality inspection and further processing if required.
